Electrical grounding vs Electrical bonding

Electrical grounding is taking the voltage to the actual earth

Electrical bonding is connecting all metal parts around the area together so that if you touch two pieces of metal you won’t get shocked.

I believe where people get confused is that after you bond an area together you need to bring that bonded system to ground.

That’s really all I want to say right here, I feel like the more people elaborate the more confused people get. Keep it simple.
