How to Install a Keyless Fixture

You often find keyless fixtures in garages, utility rooms, basements, and sometimes closets. It is just a single socket fixture made with plastic or porcelain. The one tricky part of installing a keyless fixture is that they are very fragile. I recommend tightening down with a screw driver instead of an impact drill or drill driver.

These lights are really easy to install and there is no ground screw to put the bare copper wire on. I try to tuck the ground wire way up in the electrical box. This way there is no chance that the ground wire can accidentally touch the hot screws when you screw down the fixture.
